Hydrangeas & Bird Nest
Technique: Transfer the major outlines - Branches, a circle for the hydrangeas, nest and large leaves.
Do not go into a lot of detail, this is a loosely painted piece.
Surface: 12 inch square ceramic tile from any home improvement center.
Brushes:1/2 inch Angle, #4 and #8 Filbert, #0 Liner, 1/2 inch Shader
Paint: Decoart Americana or paints similar, Burnt Umber, Hi-Lite Flesh, Moon Yellow (very small amount), Uniform Blue, Hauser Medium Green,
Light Hauser Green, green Mist or Delta Alpine Green, Deep Burgandy, Light Buttermilk
Folk Art: Metallic Period, Metallic Inca Gold
Preparation: Wipe with alcohol. If the tile has a shiny surface, lightly spray it with matte spray sealer.
