Wet on Wet Oil Technique

This is a “wet into wet” oil painting technique. Several contemporary artists paint this way, i.e. Bob Ross,
Gary Jenkins and Alexander. The subject is called A BASIC FLOWER done in avariety of colors.
Listed below are the supplies needed.

Surface:  Your choice – canvas, wood, porcelain, etc.
If painting on a wooden surface, prep the piece with black or black green ACRYLIC.
Porcelain or canvas do not require any preparation.

Brushes:  Mop - liner - Bob Ross floral - good chisel edge brush

Oil paints: sap green - white - mauve - floral pink - alizarin crimson - Cad yellow light - ultramarine blue - turquoise

I have done this technique on many different surfaces including furniture and wall murals.
I will bring a few samples to the January meeting for your observation.

Palettes will be available for $3.00. Surfaces for $4.00
