| President’s
Letter: As your new President for the year 2010, I would love to wish everyone a Happy & Healthy New Year. How great it is to start the New Year with all our painting friends. The holidays go by so fast that we hardly have time to see and wish everyone good tidings, but always remember we are always there for each other. You are never far from our thoughts during the holiday season. I would like to say “Thank You” to Dorothy Falcone for stepping in and doing a great job as our President last year. I just wanted to let her know how much we appreciate her and all she has done for the chapter. I am looking forward to this upcoming year of painting - so many great projects Brenda has scheduled for all of us. We have so much to look forward to this year— starting with our swap meet in January, where everyone brings your unneeded painting related goodies to sell, along with a pot luck lunch. I know I, for one, am looking forward to doing some shopping. We also have the Favor Paint In at our March meeting when we paint the favors for our Luncheon in October while having a lunch catered by the chapter. I hope to see everyone there. We have to start thinking about our yearly Luncheon right away. I know we all have a great time in October. Nadine Lawless is the Chairperson this year, and I know we will all support her. I would love to have everyone to start early and get your three ornaments done. Let’s all start on a painted item. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if every member painted at least one item since we are a painting group. |
